At the end of April, a colleague and I packed our bags and drove to the airport
Then came 2 long-haul overnight flights and 1 short-haul flight interspersed with lengthy layovers- 42 hours travel time in total, but who￢ﾀﾙs counting? We landed on the shores of Lake Victoria in Kenya￢ﾀﾙs third-biggest city, Kisumu. Right on the equator- zero degrees latitude.
