Haridra(Turmeric) and Kumkum(Sindhoor) is considered as divine things for women. An act of offering and receiving Haridra and kumkum is considered as an auspicious for women especially for married one. Haridra sloka/ stotram Haridrancha daaridra hare, kumkumancha Madhwa priye, sukumdehi, sukumnaasti Bhagirathi namahstute. Ithi Sri Haridra stotra sampornam. Sri Krishnarpnamastu. Chant this stotram silently, When offering/ receiving Haridra-kumkum. And also, after having bath, spell this Haridra stotram while applying Haridra and kumkum to face, body and mangalasutra.
